Chris Cockrell was born in 1990 and raised in the vibrant community of Mobile, Alabama. Following his high school graduation in 2009, he embarked on his journey to pursue an engineering degree in college.

Returning to Mobile in 2012, fate smiled upon Chris as he was offered a prestigious role as a construction supervisor for a prominent local General Contractor. With dedication and passion, he undertook insurance restorations for both commercial and residential properties, instantly falling in love with the building industry and recognizing it as his true calling.

Eager to carve a promising future, Chris worked tirelessly between 2012 and 2015, diligently saving, acquiring essential tools, and immersing himself in every facet of the industry to enhance his knowledge. In the summer of 2015, he took a significant leap by founding his own enterprise, Cockrell Contracting LLC. To complement his entrepreneurial spirit, Chris found unwavering support from his wife, Destiny Cockrell, who continues to play a vital role in marketing and sales at Cockrell Contracting.

The turning point came in the fall of 2016 when a devastating storm struck Baton Rouge, Louisiana, causing severe structural damage to many Parish County properties. Because of his exceptional reputation, a close business contact recommended Chris and his skilled crew to lead the restoration efforts for several schools in the region. This marked his first major contract, proving his capabilities and prowess in the industry.

Between 2016 and 2018, Chris undertook a myriad of construction projects and insurance restorations, diligently establishing his presence in the local community. He left no stone unturned in promoting his small business, employing strategic sign placements, pamphlet distribution, and other affordable marketing techniques.

The year 2018 proved to be pivotal for Chris as he secured his contractor license for large-scale projects. Since then, he has steadily climbed the “construction industry ladder,” striving for daily improvements to cater to his customers’ diverse needs. With an impressive portfolio of successful ventures, Chris has accomplished various large-scale Government, commercial, and residential projects from 2018 to the present day, consistently delivering exemplary results.
